Ministry of SMEs and Startups Hosts ‘Day of Win-Win Payment Expansion’… 20 Teams Including Incheon City and Shinhoeng Global Recognized
On the 27th, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) announced that it held the ‘Day of Win-Win Payment Expansion’ at the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeouido, Seoul, to honor individuals and organizations that contributed to the expansion of win-win payment practices. During the event, 20 awards from the MSS Minister were presented to outstanding organizations and individuals. Nine organizational awards were given to Incheon City, Busan Urban Corporation, Incheon Transit Corporation, Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, Shinhoeng Global, Shinsung Delta Tech, HL Tech, Sungwoon Electric, and YG Tech. Eleven individual awards were presented to the following recipients: Hakjun Kim (LG Electronics), Junghoon Park (Hyundai Transys), Hyunjung Lee (Suncheon City, Jeonnam), Sangmi Kim (Daegu City), Hyunju Cho (Korea Midland Power), Sangwoo Lee (Korea East-West Power), Jungyeon Kim (Busan Transportation Corporation), Chaeryeong Lim (Industrial Bank of Korea), Jongheon Lee (IM Bank), Chan Park (Woori Bank), and Hyeok Lee (Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small & Medium Enterprises and Agriculture & Fisheries). Seongseop Kim, Vice Minister of MSS, stated, “We will focus our policy efforts on promoting the use of win-win payments in the public procurement market worth approximately KRW 200 trillion annually through collaboration with relevant ministries and local governments.”
